About Us
Punit
currently serves as the CEO of Zazu, helping to organize the operations and business development of the Company. He has started two successful startups, Boston BookWorks.com and CoopRatings.com in the International Ecommerce and Social Collaboration space respectively. Punit is a recent graduate at Northeastern University and as the past President of the Entrepreneurs Club he created the Entrepreneurs Immersion Program where students can work with real world start ups to learn about their challenges, and Co-founded the Husky Innovation Challenge where students go through boot camps taught by student entrepreneurs to learn about the fundamentals of starting a venture. Punit has also worked in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch and Venture Capital at Hercules Technology Growth Capital.
Aaron
is the Resident Buyologist for Zazu, developing and managing the marketing initiatives as well as actively engaging the Zazu community. In the past, Aaron has either founded or been on the initial management team for four organizations; Ultra Light Startups Boston, Peer Health Exchange at Northeastern University, The Husky Innovation Challenge and IDEA, Northeastern’s Venture Accelerator. He is currently the President of the undergraduate Entrepreneurs Club at Northeastern and is expecting to graduate in May 2011 with a B.S. in Biology. He has nearly two years of biotech-focused laboratory experience and is combining his biology and marketing know-how to determine the emotional and physiological reasons customers want Zazu!
Marc
is Zazu's geek, he is developing their mobile notification framework and android application. Marc attends Northeastern University with Aaron and Punit, where he is working on his BS/MS in Computer Science. He's worked for a bunch of different companies and institutions; consulting, doing operations work, developing, teaching, and researching: EMC, Tippingpoint Labs, Northeastern University, Newton Public Schools, and MIT. He's been doing research in distributed computing (distributed multithreaded checkpointing) for the past few months, so NoSQL is a natural step is cool technologies to play around with. Marc recently competed with the Northeastern University Cyber Defense Team to bring home first place at the 2010 National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition in San Antonio, TX
Nathan
is currently a sophomore at Northeastern University, majoring in computer and information science. He loves everything about computers and can most likely help you with any problem you have!
Channing
is currently doing #{stuff} for zazu. Channing graduated from Northeastern University in May this year. During his time there, he competed alongside Marc on the Northeastern University Cyber Defense Team and interned for Google and Microsoft developing highly scalable web applications. A native to the California Bay Area he has a deep rooted love of the startup community and is fusing his big company experience with Zazu's small company spirit.
